Hazard Lamp (Emergency Light) or so-called hazard lights are lights that live simultaneously when the hazard switch (Picture Red Triangle) is pressed. Emergency lights serves as a marker of emergency experienced by the driver of the vehicle. It is written in the Law No. 22 Year 2009 on LLAJ, Article 121 paragraph 1, which states:
"Every driver of motor vehicles must install safety triangle, hazard warning signal lamps, or other cues when stopping or parking in case of emergency on the Road".

But to be a concern for drivers, there is a habit of abusing the functionality of Hazard Lights. Including the following:
- Using the rain. Using the rain only confuse the driver behind because when the hazard lights switched on, lights Sein does not function as it is covered by the hazard lights. You just be careful only when it rains or by turning on the headlights.
- Using a straight when the signal at the intersection. Using while moving forwards is not necessary because without turn on the turn signal indicating means you yourself will move straight ahead.
